Description

Capacity function group under planning department manages factory strategic layout, capital and capacity. As an industrial engineer, you will undertake challenges to blend strategic and operational work, learn most advanced manufacturing optimization method. The detail work will include:

• Establish and maintain machine capacity model into capacity planning, simulation and optimization.

• Review capacity model and take actions to close any capacity gap to support forecast demand with solid solution plan.

• Familiar with time study principle for production equipment PPH data collection, calculation, verification and lead the PPH improvements, including production equipment utilization, etc.

• Establish monthly production run rate and setup capacity constraint to ensure loading per the set run rate

• Weekly review capacity utilization report and take action to resolve any capacity constraint to support demand

• Plan plant, production facilities and equipment layouts to improve factory efficiency and space utilization.

• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, Logistic and Engineering for new equipment purchase, delivery and installation based on required capacity

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree and above

• With above 1-2 years experience of IE related will be a plus

• Proficient Office software skill, especially Excel, PPT, SQL etc will be advantage.

• Fluent communication skill in both Mandarin and English

• Proactively thinking, strong logicality and quick response

• Strong passion and responsibility.

• Strong stress management and self-motivation.

• Good time management and make sure project competition on schedule.

• Basic knowledge of semiconductor will be better.
