The Amazon Kindle Non-Fiction Content team is looking for Software Development Engineers!

Amazon invites smart, talented, and innovative software development engineers to join the Gamut team and take part in designing and developing our next-generation services that make it fast, easy, and low-cost to create innovative features for Books customers. The Gamut team is re-imagining the bookstore experience, making the store feel tailored for individual customers. We are customizing the entire shopping journey by deeply understanding each customer's unique preferences and ensuring readers can quickly and effortlessly discover their next captivating literary adventure, making the book discovery process truly delightful and personalized. Brief on Work:-

As part of the team, you'll build services and features to showcase critical relationships between customers and books across the entire bookstore. You will need to invent, design, and develop end-to-end products that continuously make it simpler to create a tailored discovery experience that unlocks effortless exploration aligned with individual tastes and interests. Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience

  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
