Dollar Tree Zone Vice President of Store Operations - Dollar Tree in Chesapeake, Virginia

As the Zone VP of Store Operations , you will lead a dynamic team, driving excellence in sales, customer service, and operational performance across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales & Profitability: Oversee P&L responsibility for stores, ensuring financial goals are met through effective staffing, training, and operational execution.

  • Operational Excellence: Set and maintain high standards for store conditions, stock positioning, sanitation, and service levels.

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and manage regional sales, profit, and labor budgets , identifying opportunities for growth and efficiency.

  • Talent Development: Build and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring strong leadership succession and ongoing career growth.

  • Compliance & Standards: Ensure adherence to company policies and all county, state, and federal regulations.

What You Bring:

  • Proven leadership in grocery, drug store, or variety store operations, with expertise in budgeting, administration, and personnel management.

  • Experience in logistics and real estate management within a multi-unit retail environment.

  • Strong knowledge of best practices in store operations, payroll management, freight flow, and merchandising.

  • Financial acumen with a deep understanding of P&L management and how to drive performance.

  • Ability to build and inspire large field teams , fostering a strong culture of growth and engagement.
