As a Transport Telemetry Tech at Crozer, you will t ransport patients safely throughout the Medical Center and work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families. You must respond quickly and accurately to changes in patients' condition.

Responsiblities:

• Interpret cardiac rhythms including slow, fast, and abnormal heart rhythms on transport cardiac monitoring equipment

• Moving stable cardiac patient. (Handoff) RN to RN in-between studies. Moving a stable rhythm patient that has normal heart rate and rhythm back to the patients baseline

• Assists nursing personnel (Passport) to prepare patients for transports, including moving and positioning patients

• Inspects stretchers and wheelchairs for readiness and cleanliness before and after patient transport (assigned stretcher)

  Education and Training:

• High school graduation or equivalent

• Successfully complete and pass a two-day transport telemetry course that includes classroom and skill validation (Individuals with EMS background may test out).
