Job Description
Women's Soccer Assistant Coach
Primary responsibilities are to assist in the administration and coaching of the women’s soccer program, which encompasses approximately 28 female student athletes. Duties include but are not limited to; coaching at practice and game competition, recruitment of prospective student athletes on and off the Boston College campus, completion of all game day preparation needs, including scouting reports, video analysis of Boston College women’s soccer team and the opposition pre and post match, and managing all facets of camps and clinics. This position will be expected to perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with all NCAA, ACC and Institutional rules.
Essential Functions
Assistant in coaching at practice and at home and away contests 35%
Coordination of recruitment of prospective student athletes 30%
Game Day Preparation including video analysis and scouting reports 30%
Management of all facets for camps and clinics 5%
Salary commensurate with relevant experience. Salary range 58K-72K
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred. Current CPR certification.
*3-5 years successful coaching experience, preferably at the college level.
- Expertise in technical aspect of sport
*Good organizational and communication skills
*Proven ability to work effectively with college student-athletes, athletic staff, College and community personnel, and alumni.
*Knowledge of NCAA rules.
*Proficient computer knowledge including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, and power point), and File Maker Pro
