About the Team

The ACCUPLACER and CLEP team is responsible for the development, delivery and customer experience of two digital assessment programs that serve a diverse group of high-school, college, and adult students. Both programs strive to serve students wherever they are on their educational journey, regardless of the path they took to get there. The ACCUPLACER program offers a series of digital assessments that evaluate students\' skills in reading, writing, and math and helps colleges and workforce training providers gauge student readiness for required coursework and identify areas where students may need additional support to succeed. CLEP is a credit-by-examination program that covers over 30 introductory college-level subjects. It gives learners an opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills acquired through prior learning and earn college credits at many colleges and universities, saving them time and money in their pursuit for college degrees.

About the Opportunity

Serving our users directly as representative of the ACCUPLACER and CLEP programs, you will be responsible for a variety of outreach activities, driving program growth and helping the team understand customer needs. You will manage key accounts, cultivating relationships to increase program engagement and participation. You will also leverage existing partnerships and establish new ones to extend the reach of our programs, making them available to more learners. This role will be primarily responsible for CLEP outreach but will include some ACCUPLACER activities as well.

In this role, you will:

  • Grow program participation (50%)
    • Manage initiatives to drive participation growth in key states and markets.
    • Cultivate relationships and lead outreach activities for K-12, higher education, and military users.
    • Manage account for the Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) and increase participation among military service members.
    • Support existing CLEP test centers and increase the number of test centers at colleges, universities, high schools, and other institutions.
    • Lead and support initiatives to secure CLEP credit policies and ensure that CLEP credits are widely accepted.
    • Collaborate with Government Relations colleagues to drive policies and legislation that support program goals.

{=html} <!-- --> - Cultivate and support key partnerships (25%) - Manage the relationship with Modern States Education Alliance, collaborating on new initiatives and expanding CLEP opportunities to more learners. - Secure new strategic partnerships with education institutions, military and veteran organizations, and public- and private-sector employers. - Lead onboarding and implementation activities for new partnerships, delivering in-person and online workshops, managing partner communications, and addressing user inquiries.

{=html} <!-- --> - Support other program activities (25%) - Secure sessions at high-impact conferences and participate in key events via presentations, sponsorships and/or exhibits. - Translate user feedback into recommendations for program enhancements. - Develop and track program plans and budgets for outreach activities. - Support market research, competitor analyses, and RFP responses as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

You have:

  • Bachelor\'s degree (master\'s degree prefer ed)
  • At least 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Experience working in education or with educational products and services is strongly preferred. Experience with digital testing, test delivery, and outreach is helpful.
  • Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to educators, military personnel, business leaders, and other stakeholders at various levels
  • Strong presentation skills and expertise in PowerPoint, with an emphasis on displaying complex information in a digestible format
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing new initiatives or customer implementations
  • Deep understanding of the academic environment and working knowledge of placement and/or credit-by-examination programs
  • Willingness and ability to travel (up to 50%)
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Authorization to work in the United States
