Identify and communicate accounting and auditing matters to senior auditors, managers, directors, principals and partners. Provide assistance in the audit of selected financial statement accounts and in the preparation of financial statements and management letters. Document accounting systems and internal controls. Prepare appropriate audit work papers that are informative, indexed, and cross-referenced. Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries to clients. Collaborate with supervisor and team in a timely manner to resolve engagement issues. ***Work is at Employers Office 230 West Monroe St., Suite 310, Chicago, IL 60606, with domestic travel once per month lasting 3 to 5 business days is also required.
