Job Description

As the Tax Director, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely tax compliance with federal, state and local tax authorities. You will assist in quarterly income tax provision calculations under ASC 740, analysis and documentation of uncertain tax position (FIN 48) and the income tax sections of the SEC filings. You will also manage sales and use, property and other tax compliance requirements.

Role:

• Research, respond to and resolve tax notices and inquiries.

• Assist with preparation of all SEC 10-Q and 10-K tax disclosures, adjust inventory of uncertain tax positions and deferred tax components as needed.

• Review/prepare personal property tax statements and sales & use tax returns.

• You will manage/direct tax staff.

  Requirements

Job requirements:

• Possess expertise in tax compliance and SEC filing.

• Have an understanding of quarterly provision reporting, quarterly tax provision reports, tax research and compliance work.

• Have the ability to research, analyze and understand complex issues and have a commitment to process improvement.

• A bachelors degree in Accounting as well as a Certified Public Accountant license is required.

• Deep knowledge, preferably at least 7 years prior Tax experience within a corporate tax department or at a public accounting firm is necessary.
