Type: This is a full-time, temporary position that will last 6 months from the start date.
Location: This is a fully remote role, but candidates who live near College Board offices can be fully remote or hybrid (Tuesday and Wednesday in office).

About the Opportunity
As a Test Security Specialist focusing on Incident Report Investigations, your primary role will be to spearhead investigations into PSAT test security incidents, ensuring their compliance with our defined policies and assessing if there\'s compelling evidence that supports score cancellation. You will oversee cases from each test administration, delving into statistical evidence, test day reports, and any available physical evidence to thoroughly understand the situation and make informed decisions. Your role extends to effective communication with students, parents, and student representatives such as attorneys, counselors, and educators while facilitating swift resolution of cases. Your responsibilities will also include collaborative evidence analysis, case determination, and management while maintaining strict adherence to legal requirements and College Board standards and policies. This role ensures that you are part of a process that aligns with the highest levels of fairness, integrity, and security.
In this role, you will:
Case Management (65%)
- As a vital contributor to the Test Security team, you\'ll shoulder a critical responsibility in scrutinizing and evaluating individual PSAT scores and tasks. Your role is to discern whether there exists substantial evidence that casts doubt on the validity of such scores or submissions

{=html} <!-- --> - You\'ll be entrusted with the critical responsibility for data management within the Test Security team\'s case management system. Your duties will encompass overseeing your assigned caseload and guaranteeing accurate tracking and comprehensive reporting of case status metrics to the Test Security team leadership
{=html} <!-- --> - Harnessing your proficiency in data forensics and data algorithms, you\'ll identify and analyze patterns of irregularity, thereby enabling you to investigate and address PSAT test security concerns with utmost precision

Your duties include providing specialized expertise in formulating and assessing investigative outcome recommendations for score validity cases, orchestrating larger-scale investigations, and expertly managing sensitive data within strict timelines
Customer Service (35%
- This role entails providing timely and supportive communication - both written and verbal - with students, their representatives, and parents about scores under review. You\'ll serve as a trusted source of insight, educating them about our stringent policies, systematic processes, and effective protocols designed for preventing, identifying, investigating, and managing PSAT incident reports. Our goal is to ensure transparency and build trust, enhancing College Board\'s reputation for fairness and integrity in all interactions
