We're looking for a Senior Data Governance Analyst to join our ever-evolving Data Strategy Solutions team to help us unleash the potential of every business. (This is a process driven position, non-technical position) About the team The Enterprise Data Governance (EDG) team ensures Worldpay meets its data governance and compliance goals while supporting the Agile Intake Processes. The team enables the data function to quickly adapt to Worldpay's changing requirements, optimize their business decision making through accurate and reliable data, and play the critical role of ensuring we are compliant with relevant regulations such as SOX, PCI-DSS, privacy, and security regulations. This role supports the data management initiative, focusing on establishing robust data quality frameworks, data lineage, and defining clear business data definitions. It also involves contributing to strategic projects such as Master Data Management (MDM) for Customer and Product information across Worldpay. Leverage your Data Governance experience to collaborate with data teams, improving data security, lifecycle management, data quality, and data management practices. Contribute to the planning and execution of the strategic goals of the Data Management team. Perform data analysis to assess and improve the structure, content, and quality of the datasets through examination of source systems and data samples. Design, develop and implement end-to-end solutions utilizing the Alation toolset along with Informatica toolsets. Conduct root cause analysis to address data quality and governance challenges, informed by scorecard and metrics. Partner with stakeholders at various levels to identify, resolve and prevent data quality issues. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure adherence to data governance policies during development. Contribute to building and maintaining metadata repositories, glossaries and end-to-end lineage utilizing Alation. Facilitate approvals and engagement with data owners to align on governance policies. Develop and maintain scorecards and dashboards to monitor and report on governance and data quality metrics. Design and build data models, data pipelines, apply transformation, and create tables to support metadata, security, quality, or compliance reporting needs. Actively support compliance initiatives, including adherence to enterprise data, security and privacy policies. Serve as a subject matter expert, advocating for data governance and management practices across Worldpay. Where you'll own it You'll own it in our thriving North America region hub. What you bring Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
