The Electrical & Software Engineering Manager for Mammotome is responsible for leading a skilled team of electrical and software engineers through the regulated process of medical product design. Drive innovation, team development, and engagement.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Drive technical decision making, including oversight of processes, ensuring all tests are administered in adherence to established quality or performance metrics, investigation of problems.

  • Supports and/or leads new product development, product changes after launch, and Vave engineering based on defined needs.

  • Provide mentorship, guidance and leadership in the Engineering Department.

  • Manage the activities of direct reports and ensuring the organization’s abilities continue to improve through individual development and organizational capabilities.

  • Lead staff performance management activities to improve capabilities and skills using regular objective setting and review process, performing appraisals and coaching of individuals on development plans.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Minimum of 6 years related work experience required; experience with both electrical and software development is required.

  • Minimum of 2 years leadership responsibility (managing directly; or directing individual activities) required.

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.

  • Advanced Degree in field preferred, but not required.

  • Up to 10% travel with a mix of domestic and international locations, with occasional overnight trips are required.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Medical device experience (PMA or 510k) strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS) or other similarly regulated industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical & software engineering principles, including circuit design, signal processing, power systems, programming languages, & cybersecurity.

  • Experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and firmware development.

The salary range for this role is $120,000 - $140,000 annually. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
