Pay: $24-$27/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Type of Job: Contract to Hire

Location : Cincinnati, OH

Key Responsibilities :

• Participate in all aspects of microbial testing (i.e. media production, PET, Celsis, APC, & Enrichment, & any miscellaneous testing)

• Adhere to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) & safety precautions as outlined by the Plant Leadership via written procedures & safety standards (i.e. SDS).

• Report all out of specification (OOS) results to a QS Leader or designee.

• Support the initiatives of key manufacturing & quality personnel, such as obtaining environmental samples for process improvements or water sampling.

• Ensure the good maintenance-state of the appointed laboratory instruments.

• Supporting the auditing of key manufacturing & quality processes, including data entry of environmental or product samples.

Education/Experience:

• B.S. in Biology or Microbiology required

• 3-5 years’ experience with bench work is required

• Experience in wet scales, weighing, plating, and prepping samples is a plus!
