Job Overview The Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a skilled communicator and strategic storyteller to assist with prospective student communications. This role supports UC's goal of enrolling 60,000 students by 2030 and aligns with the university's "Next Lives Here" ethos, emphasizing access, innovation, and inclusiveness. The position requires a strong understanding of the higher education landscape and a demonstrated ability to create impactful content that resonates with diverse audiences. Primary responsibilities include writing, editing, and proofreading engaging content tailored to prospective students, their families, community-based organizations, high school and community college partners, faculty, and staff. Content will span multiple channels and include calls-to-action (CTAs) designed to drive engagement and conversions across communications. This role will also focus on utilizing the institution's CRM, Technolutions Slate, to manage and execute communications. Responsibilities include scheduling, segmenting, and deploying email campaigns and automated workflows, ensuring accurate audience targeting and personalization through effective query management. The Project Manager will implement A/B testing, analyze campaign results, and monitor performance metrics to continuously optimize communication strategies. Essential Functions * Manage, design, develop, modify and present programs. Perform program needs assessment and make recommendations. * Implement policies and procedures. * Maintain budget, prepare contracts, approve and monitor expenditures, prepare budget requests and financial reports. * Act as liaison to internal departments, external entities and community organizations. * May prepare and edit reports and/or newsletters and develop publication materials. * May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e.), hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.). * Perform related duties based on departmental need. Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
