The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, in collaboration with University Health Services within The Department of Family and Community Medicine, is recruiting a full-time Clinical Psychologist, Clinical Counselor, or Social Worker to join the faculty that will provide comprehensive clinical, consultative, emergency and psycho-educational services to the diverse student body of the University of Cincinnati. The rank of the appointment is Instructor with opportunities for advancement. Essential Functions 100% (1.00 FTE) clinical position. Primary clinical service is direct patient care in the form of individual psychotherapy. Provide psychological assessment, diagnosis, consultation, treatment, and related psychological services to students. Apply and supervise (if applicable) the application of psychological procedures and techniques in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating psychological disorders. Provide crisis management and case coordination with interdisciplinary clinic team members. Function as a member of interdisciplinary treatment team. Provide education and support regarding psychosocial and behavioral issues to medical school faculty, attending physicians, nursing staff, residents, interns, medical students and other trainees as requested and/or needed. Participate in regular staff meetings, case conference meetings, and other clinic meetings. Fulfill medical records, billing, HIPAA, and other administrative requirements associated with patient care. Required Education Doctoral Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Clinical Psychology (PhD. Or PsyD.).
