Title and Summary

Specialist, Implementation

Overview:

In a customer-facing environment, the jobholder is responsible for managing the technical quality of Mastercard's customers' and their processors' transaction processing host interfaces with MasterCard's processing networks.

Role:

• Act as an implementation manager in scope of implementation projects to assure Mastercard's key customers are adhering to processing specifications and payment product rules. Where needed, act as test coordinator.

• Validate key customers' processing host interface with Mastercard's core and auxiliary processing systems via adequate processes, documentation and test cases. Where needed, propose new customer testing process elements and additional test cases, and be part of implementation in Mastercard customer testing strategy.

• Provide processing interface validation consultancy in key markets and for key products to Mastercard's key customers and their processors, as well as to other customer implementation support stakeholders at Mastercard

• Support key customers and their processors during processing business implementation phase for all kind of issues and drive actively solution-finding via own expertise and/or via help of other subject matter experts.

• Provide customized training for Mastercard’s key customers and their processors, including on existing Mastercard services and products, as well as on new services and products and new product pilot launch initiatives.

All About You:

Education (preferred):

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, exact sciences, business or equivalent work experience.

Knowledge/Experience (preferred):

• Good Information Technology system knowledge, including standard PC applications, software and hardware. Advanced understanding of network technology.

• Advanced payment transaction processing business principles knowledge

• Basic understanding of Mastercard’s payment processing systems, formats and associated customer host interface testing services and principles

Skills/Abilities:

• Strong customer IT service focused

• Strong technical IT skills

• Eager to learn

• Willing to drive change in technical work environment

• Very customer consultancy minded

• Good MasterCard processing principles knowledge

• Strong teaching skills

• Advanced customer communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Fluency in English, written and oral required.

Working Conditions: Occasional international travel and short outside standard working hours missions
