Cleveland-Cliffs Cleveland Works LLC. has an immediate opening for a Process Manager Maintenance in our Iron Producing Department. The Process Manager will manage the operations and maintenance of their assigned area while facilitating a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have prior steel industry experience, be self-motivated, and thrive in a fast-paced work environment with complex operations.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Adheres to process standards; directs daily activity to maintain a highly productive operation

• Ensures compliance with safety and environmental standards. Performs safety, quality, and environmental audits on a timely basis

• Contributes to process development. Writes and documents standard operation procedures

• Analyzes operational and maintenance delays, and provides solutions for process improvements

• Diagnoses operational process and performance issues, resolve immediate production and safety concerns

• Directs employees to accomplish work, guides on technical and process issues

• Collaborates with operations, engineering, maintenance, and other technical resources to optimize daily production

• Monitors the performance of external contractors to ensure a continuous operational flow

• Responds to emergencies during and after hours, maximizes maintenance repairs during planned and unplanned downtime

• Develops and conducts a comprehensive training program

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of management experience

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including leading and motivating employees

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the steel or metals industry
