As a Registered Respiratory Therapist you will work alongside caregivers from different departments, including anesthesia, intensive care, pulmonology and more. You will be actively providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.

A caregiver in this position works 7am-7:30pm. This is a 0.9 FTE position and requires weekend and holiday rotations.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Be passionate with strong empathy skills.

• Prioritize multitasking in a face-paced environment.

• Work well in a collaborative, team-based setting.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal caregiver include:

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credentialing from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

• Ohio Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) licensure.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).

Preferred qualifications include:

• Minimum of 1 year critical care experience.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) through AHA.

Physical Requirements:

• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

• Normal hearing and vision or corrected to normal range.

• May require sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
