The selected candidate must live in Ohio and can expect to report to ORC's Columbus, Cleveland, or Cincinnati, OH office as requested. What you will be doing: As a Right of Way Agent, you will provide relocation assistance services guided by the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 and per project guidelinesand regulations, for federally funded road,Airport, Water/Sewer, and Rail projects throughout the right-of-way project lifecycle in support of the Project Manager (PM), or members of the project team. This includes preparing real estate documents, performing basic property research for ownership and boundary information, and communicating with property owners and their representatives for the relocations. You will be responsible for performinggeneral administrativework including but not limited to preparing legal documents, reports and correspondence, attending meetings, entering and retrieving computer data, copying and filing documents for file management, verbal and written communications with customers, customer service and related functions. We are looking for someone who: Manages deadlines and prioritizeseffectively. Has a responsible and organized approach to work. Is approachable and comfortable interacting with people from all walks of life. Communicates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. What we are offering: Generous base pay 401K Sick time off Here are the minimum Requirements: Minimum of three (3) years of right of way acquisition experience Experience utilizing the Uniform Relocation Act Familiarity with ODOT policies and procedures Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Dropbox Must have an iOS or Android smartphone to be able to access ORC's systems Valid Driver's License Bonus Points if you have ODOT pre-qualifications!
