As the Shipping & Receiving Supervisor you will be responsible for the activities of all shipping personnel, the organization and distribution of inbound inventory to its proper location, ensuring all orders are checked for accuracy before being shipped, all paperwork for shipments is complete, and all trucks are routed properly.

Position: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor

Location: Solon, OH

Hours: 1st shift 7am-330pm, Monday- Friday

Salary: $52,000-$60,000 annually (exempt)

This is a direct hire role with the company

 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee packaging and warehouse employees (2-3).

``` - Review daily ship log to ensure items are ready for shipment.

``` - Assist in unloading inbound materials.

```{=html}

``` - Double-check all orders to ensure they are accurately filled.

```{=html}

``` - Ensure timely completion of order pulling for shipments.

```{=html}

``` - Coordinate with Ops Manager on finished product and availability for shipment.

``` - Ensure that all paperwork being processed thru shipping and receiving is properly completed and signed.

``` - Work with QC Manager on distribution of inbound materials.

``` - Inventory control.

```{=html}

``` - Train new employees in packaging and receiving procedures.

``` - Maintain packaging inventory.

```{=html}

``` - Maintain and enforce a positive environment of teamwork throughout the department.

 

Qualifications

• 3 or more years' experience in Shipping and Receiving.

``` - 1 or more years' experience as a Lead, Supervisor, or Manager.

```{=html}

``` - Previous experience operating a tow motor.

```{=html}

``` - Math and measuring aptitude (should be able to use micrometer, caliper, dial indicator, ruler, and scale)

``` - Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs. Independently.

``` - Must be able to direct and manage personnel in a positive manner.

``` - Good computer skills.

```{=html}

``` - High School Diploma/GED required.
