  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution and a minimum of 5 years of experience of Electrical Maintenance; entry-level candidates possessing an associates degree in a technical/vocational field as indicated below will also be considered.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in electronics, electrical technology, controls, and/or automation from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum five years of industrial manufacturing or military experience.
  • Minimum of one year of management, supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley PLC & RSLogix software
  • Working knowledge and experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, robots, hydraulic, combustion and process control systems.

The Technical Specialist - Electrical / Controls is the first level of electrical support in the manufacturing plant providing leadership, coaching and clear direction to assist people with addressing electrical maintenance issues to meeting customer demand, solve technical problems, and meet production goals. The incumbent must be able to seek cooperation from others and must develop relationships to resolve electrical and control problems working under the direction of Morry Lambrix. Job responsibilities and duties include:

Coaching, supervising and training skilled craftspeople and apprentices in the repair and maintenance activities of their assigned shift and areas;

Key function of role is to keep equipment running properly and restore flow when there is a downtime event;

Directing the safety awareness program for their workforce and manage safe work performance, maintaining housekeeping and assisting the Production team in area safety analysis;

Follow all safety procedures including LOTOV, PPE, Confined Space, Burning Permits, Fall Protection;

Drive home new maintenance mentality - create a proactive maintenance environment by driving preventive maintenance and other planned work;

Set the example for hourly employees - work with them on organization techniques, troubleshooting skills, mechanical and electrical skills;
