Pay - $35-$45 per hour, health insurance, 401k, and PTO
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
Summary:
This position is responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical theory, a proven track record of safe work practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including but not limited to:
Motors, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)
Control panels and instrumentation
Lighting systems
Power distribution systems (transformers)
480V and lower voltage systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.)
Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs as needed.
May be required to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician.
Strong understanding of electrical theory, including AC/DC circuits.
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.
Must pass a background check and physical, including an HPE,
Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
