Pay - $35-$45 per hour, health insurance, 401k, and PTO

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor/Manager

Summary:

This position is responsible for performing a variety of electrical maintenance and repair tasks within an industrial environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical theory, a proven track record of safe work practices, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex electrical systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, including but not limited to:

• Motors, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs)

• Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)

• Control panels and instrumentation

• Lighting systems

• Power distribution systems (transformers)

• 480V and lower voltage systems

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment (multimeter, megger, etc.)

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.

• Adhere to all safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, and use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Assist other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs as needed.

• May be required to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial electrician.

• Strong understanding of electrical theory, including AC/DC circuits.

• Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting a plus.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.

• Must be able to work in confined spaces and at heights.

• Must pass a background check and physical, including an HPE,

Pay Details: $35.00 to $45.00 per hour
