Adecco US, Inc. CNC Machinist in Clifton Springs, New York

Adecco is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist for 2nd shift at a global leader in engineering solutions for industries like oil & gas , aerospace , defense , and more. This company designs and manufactures cutting-edge solenoids, sensors, and valves for clients worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CNC Set-Up & Operation: Set up and adjust CNC equipment (lathes, grinders, EDMs, etc.), including prove-outs and adjustments for First Article Inspection.

  • Inspection: Perform dimensional inspections (length, diameter, finishes) for First Article and ongoing production.

  • Production Management: Operate machines to meet productivity and quality standards; troubleshoot and improve processes.

  • Collaboration: Work with the team to meet production goals and objectives.

  • Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance.

  • Data Management: Use software tools for tooling inventory, SPC collection, and performance tracking.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years machining experience (manual & CNC), with 3 years of setup and production experience.

  • Education: Technical degree or diploma is a plus.

  • Skills: Strong blueprint reading, GD&T (ASME Y14.5) knowledge, CNC operation, and proficiency in inspection techniques (micrometers, gages, etc.).

  • Leadership: Experience in leading or mentoring teams is a plus.
