Aerotek Working Superintendent in Clinton, Wisconsin

Job Description

As a Working Superintendent, you will manage and oversee onsite construction for commercial ground-up projects. Your responsibilities will include managing the production of field crews, providing direction, communicating with customers, and liaising with company leadership. You will handle self-performed work including excavation, cast-in-place concrete, rough, and finish carpentry. You will manage subcontractors, schedule project manpower, equipment, and materials. Additionally, you will work on one project from start to closeout or multiple smaller projects. Your experience in self-performed work like concrete and carpentry will be crucial as you will assist field crews with punch list items or work alongside them when needed. You will be involved in all phases of construction, including concrete pours, framing, hanging doors, hardware, and finishing touches. You should have experience running jobs of various sizes, with budgets ranging from $500K to $12M. You will be working within a 60-mile radius from Clinton, WI, with occasional out-of-town work for specialty clients.

Work Environment

As a Working Superintendent, you will primarily be working out of a job trailer, outdoors in all weather conditions. You will be part of a smaller General Contractor team with an average project size of 3-5M. The types of projects include commercial, industrial, and municipal. The team size in the field is around 20 workers, specializing in self-performed work like carpentry and concrete. The working hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
