Emerson Senior Business and Strategy Analyst (24 months) in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

Based in Cluj Napoca, Romania, the Senior Business & Strategy Analyst primarily supports strategic planning Europe and the European Leadership team with Market intelligence and analytics, business insights and project management to improve processes, informed decision making and tracking of progresses against various central initiatives, activity focused on the World Area Global Sales Europe for Automation Solutions.

In this role your responsibilities will be

  • Manage the Modeling of the European market data from collecting data from CMI and GFCF to deliver business insights to Leadership for the Strategy Review

  • Build Competitive assessments for Europe, regions and countries based on the latest market data and Sales reports

  • Support the organization with key enterprise business metrics, reports and data analysis that will enable the business platforms identify areas for improvement in relation to business performance and responsiveness to customer demands:

  • quarterly Update IIR reporting (Sustainability, Life Sciences, Metals & Mining, areas of focus and other areas that may come up)

  • quarterly Update CRM reporting, data consolidation and support to ad-hoc requests

  • monthly update and consolidation of industry sales and bookings -Europe

  • Acting as strategic planner for key European Strategic Initiatives

  • Build and maintain the KPIs for the program together with the program owner and the strategic planner Europe

  • Continuous Improvement: Generate, design and formulate key enterprise metrics, reports and analysis for multiple multi-functional European sites, to ensure accurate reporting and drive standardization where possible.

  • Liaise closely with Finance and BU Business Analysts in extracting and consolidating sales and bookings information in preparation of European reporting to key business collaborators.

  • Ad-hoc requests enabling and improving European reporting

  • Keep evergreen Success stories intranet and drive growth and excellence throughout Europe by pro-actively contributing to, and driving synergies between, all management functions, countries, and critical initiatives.

In this role you will need

  • 3+ years relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst and finance analyst role

  • Excellent knowledge in Business analysis, skilled in Microsoft office

  • Proficient in MS Excel skills, ability use pivot tables, sorting, filtering, grouping, functions (i.e., lookup, concatenate)

  • Confirmed Business Domain Knowledge in one of the following areas: Power BI, CRM, Oracle, Database management/modeling

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, proficiency in English

  • Continuous knowledge improvement on all general management core topics (HR, Finance, Strategy etc.)

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering

  • Strong aim to get things done, well-structured and clear project execution

  • Good understanding of business processes in a manufacturing environment

  • Communicate in an efficient way with senior management and stakeholders

  • Flexibility to work with other groups and on multiple projects as required.

  • Strong data analytics skills using business databases, attention to details
