Emerson Shipping Coordinator in CLUJ NAPOCA, Romania

As the Shipping Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring a smooth and efficient shipping process. You will chip in to the quality, on-time delivery, cost and flexibility goals of Cluj Measurement Manufacturing Center.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Coordinates the work of warehouse operators responsible for the delivery of products;

• Ensures the correct and timely completion of EU or NON-EU deliveries within or outside the EU in accordance with EU, US, NA or local laws; creates documents required for delivery, for approval of instructions, Shipper's Transport Letter, CMR Letter, Preferential Certificates, documentation and labelling of dangerous goods;

• Maintains contact with the carrier to schedule collections, shipments, expedited shipments, tracking and tracing of the parcel delivery process in or out of the country to ensure timely delivery without logistical problems;

• Acts as point of contact for investigating and resolving logistics challenges and escalations and trade compliance received from external or internal customers;

• Ensures general stock management both in the IT system and physically; ensures stock integrity (value, number of pieces, safe storage and according to internal procedures);

• Coordinates, together with the Materials Manager, the periodic inventories as well as monitors the inventory control systems, following the counting cycle, the accuracy with which it was done, the correct result of the inventory done;

• Responsible for auditing and archiving of Export Acts in accordance with the procedures written in QMS;

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Vocational school or high school graduate or equivalent experience;

• Previous experience in import/export activity, including logistics and international trade operation;

• Proven experience in effectively managing, motivating, and developing teams.

• Microsoft Office (MS Word/Excel/Power Point/MS Projects) and general computer skills;

• Good knowledge of English;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Professional certifications such as Certified in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), and Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) strongly preferred.

  • Outstanding project management skills strongly preferred.

  • Deep professional understanding of materials planning, purchasing, inventory management, and material control processes is strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge of Oracle and Trax.
