Summary: Under general direction, the logistics project coordinator is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and coordination of all logistics activities following cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) in support of manufacturing timelines and project deliverables.

External US

Essential Functions:

  • Work directly with internal and external customers to update and confirm schedules and deadlines for shipping
  • Schedule and plan manufacturing vial pulls, shipments, and product storage based on material readiness, manufacturing, and disposition timelines
  • Actively participates and lead when assigned shipping meetings to review or plan shipping milestones and deliverables with internal and external customers Continuous improvement of existing systems as well as implementation of new shipping systems, including training of employees to ensure FDBT maintains best practices in the industry
  • Work with Global Trade compliance manager to ensure compliance with import and export activities
  • Ensure all finished good stock creations are accurately received, stored, and documented
  • Work with and manage shipping vendors to ensure on-time delivery
  • Ability to work cross functionally with Quality Control, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Process Development and Project Management Departments, and other relevant departments to establish shipping timelines
  • Provide shipping KPIs to Supply Chain management
  • Ensures accurate review and monitoring of DeltaV building management system and warehouse TCEs
  • Perform SAP transactions for shipments and logistics activities
  • All other duties as required.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be highly organized, driven, and possess the skills and capability to be proactive and stay on schedule
  • Must have excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent Planning Skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision
  • High Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and smartsheet
  • Ability to work in a team or independent setting and collaborate with employees from various departments

  • Must be able to work weekends, off-shifts, overtime, and a rotating on-call schedule, as required
  • Handle and work with hazardous materials and chemicals per OSHA guidelines
  • Experience prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching
  • Use hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment is required
  • Lift up to 40 pounds unassisted and up to 60 pounds with assistance
  • Work in cold temperatures
  • Ability to sit for long periods to work on a computer.
  • Attendance is mandatory
