Citigroup Finance Reporting Analyst 2 - C10 (Asst. Manager) - COLOMBO (Hybrid) in Colombo, Sri Lanka

The Finance Reporting Analyst 2 is an intermediate level position responsible for the generation, tracking and submission of financial reports in coordination with the Finance and other support functions/business Teams. The overall objective of this role is to accurately prepare and report Internal and regulatory reports in accordance with local regulatory guidelines, and support tax reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of regulatory and tax reports to ensure compliance with relevant Regulations issued by Central Bank of Sri Lanka, Department of Inland Revenue and other regulatory bodies.

  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of statutory and regulatory reports.

  • Ensure to make regulatory and tax payments in line with deadlines.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues related to regulatory reporting.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal controls over regulatory reporting.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and accounting principles.

  • Adherence to internal policies and procedures

  • Coordinate and manage audits (internal and external), ensuring the accuracy of data provided and resolving audit queries.

  • Assess and mitigate risks related to regulatory reporting processes.

  • Actively take part in automation projects.

  • Driving change initiatives by regional finance.

Qualifications:

  • Passed finalist of a recognized professional institute (CA/ ACCA), and/or

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

  • Possess at least 3 - 5 years’ of experience in Financial reporting, Risk Management, and Compliance.

  • Expertise in banking regulations and compliance

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft office packages

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
