Requirements

5+ years of experience engineering and technical expertise in the design, implementation, and testing of various elements of information technology (IT) and communication systems cabling distribution Experience planning, designing, and testing data center infrastructure, communication systems cabling distribution, wide area communication circuits, and cryptologic circuits for classified facilities (i.e. SCIF) including pre-installation check out (PITCO) and system operation and verification test (SOVT) plans Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, and MS Project to provide comprehensive engineering documentation of cabling designs and "as-built" diagrams in accordance with the Shore Installation Process Handbook (SIPH) TS/SCI Security Clearance

Experience with project management best practices and execution and with strict compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) regulations Ability to review, evaluate, and provide quality assurance oversight of installed copper and optical fiber cable plant Ability to demonstrate technical expertise in the planning, design, and coordination of hardware installations with multiple agencies Ability to collaborate closely with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless program of record integration into the overall C4I and IT architecture Experience Developing and implement an approach to work with project and program sponsors to ensure a seamless transition from the current to new locations. Experience developing installation design plans (IDP) Ability to negotiate complex technical solutions with FAMs and major stakeholders. This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients. SRC is searching for a well-rounded Infrastructure Engineer design, installation oversight, and quality assurance (QA) of all cabling installations to support the in tallation requirements for United States Space Command (USSPACECOM) command and control facilities. Manages and coordinates the cabling infrastructure design and provide installation oversight at a new facility by engaging with functional area managers (FAMs) and other project and systems engineers to ensure installed cabling will support proper systems integration throughout the space. Work supporting USSPACECOM will be conducted at the government's facilities in Colorado Springs, CO.
