Our service area covers 14 counties, from the front range to the Kansas border, with locations throughout Colorado Springs, Fountain, Flagler, Divide, Limon, and Strasburg. Peak Vista is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).
Compensation (Pay): $16.25 to $23.20/hourly, based on experience.

Summary: The Patient Accounts Representative – Eligibility support billing functions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
Responsible for understanding the billing details and requirements for all third party payors and miscellaneous programs.
Enters and/or approves data into the computer system according to appropriate guidelines to ensure that PVCHC accounts receivable is correct.
Third party billing via electronic, Web portal or hardcopy formats.
Ability to reconcile payments to patient accounts with appropriate codes.
Coordination of member benefits.
Adjusting member accounts based on updated information.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Work Experience: Medical terminology desired, understands medical and financial confidentiality, minimum 1 year of customer service experience required. ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding desired. Payment balancing experience desired.
Language Ability: Must have superior communication and customer service skills
Math Ability: REMOVE Payments & ADD Payments - Patient Accounts
Reasoning Ability: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a timely manner, ability to communicate in person, by phone and in writing in a clear, concise and professional manner, ability to reason and prioritize responsibilities effectively and ability to resolve problems with minimal assistance.
Computer Skills: Data entry skills required, expedient and accurate use of 10 key and basic computer skills required. Certificates and Licenses: None
