Front Range Staffing Tax Manager in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Front Range Staffing is seeking a Tax Manager with 6 + years' experience in Public Accounting for a Mid-Size Tax Accounting Firm in Colorado Springs, CO

Pay range is $90,000 to $120,000 a year, pay is negotiable depending on experience. The hours are Monday through Friday, 8 to 5pm.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Tax Manager to join our team. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, financial acumen, business insight, and strong analytical and project management skills.

The ideal candidate will have: Advanced knowledge of local, state, and federal tax regulations Ability to demonstrate exceptional professional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities. Advanced technical, financial, and analytical skills to manage complex tax-related projects effectively. Maintain an in-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regulations to ensure compliance across all operations. Outstanding professional communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with demonstrated emotional intelligence, especially in challenging situations. Establishing and nurturing strong client relationships and partnerships to drive business success. Applying advanced time management skills to optimize billable hours and minimize non-billable time. Lead, develop, and supervise a diverse team of staff at multiple levels, ensuring their professional growth and development, while also leveraging personal strengths to build a successful, long-term career within the organizat Drive new business development efforts, particularly in the Colorado Springs market, and conduct research on complex tax topics, presenting findings in a clear, analytical manner with actionable recommendations. Active participation and/or leadership in community events, professional, civic, or charitable organizations, as well as industry or business associations. Achieving both new and existing cross-selling and upselling targets. Assigning tasks based on staff members' knowledge and capabilities, conducting performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback. Participation in staff training, offering guidance and direction to foster professional growth. Taking ownership of staff engagement and retention efforts, conducting stay interviews, and collaborating with leadership to address any recurring themes are essential to maintaining a positive work environment. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting. CPA, EA, or an equivalent certification is mandatory.
