Robert Half Assistant Property Manager in Columbia, South Carolina
Description We are in search of an Assistant Property Manager to join our team based in Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the Property Manager and General Manager in overseeing the operations and maintenance of our properties. Additionally, you will manage relationships with internal and external team members, and assist in preparing financial and management reports. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the preparation and administration of financial reports, management reports, operating expense recoveries, and adjustments to actuals.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of building staff and vendors in line with our policies and procedures.
• Monitor collections and coordinate default proceedings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external team members.
• Support the maintenance staff in developing a 5-year capital plan.
• Track progress of goals, objectives, timelines, and budgets, generating reports on status as required.
• Oversee facility operations including the work order/maintenance request program, vendor contracts, vendor portal compliance, building inspections, construction/TI administration, emergency response & preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with the Property Manager/General Manager on lease administration functions.
• Ensure effective housekeeping/janitorial efforts.
• Perform all necessary administrative and operational duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is essential
• Experience in using CRM is necessary
• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is a must
• Ability to work with Management System is needed
• Understanding of Accounting Functions is crucial
• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed
• Experience in performing Billing Functions is essential
