Clinical Therapist in The Ohio State University, Office of Student Life, Counseling and Consultation Service, Columbus, Ohio. Duties: provides individual, couples, and group counseling to university students; provides diagnostic assessment, initial screenings and counseling to students regarding problems relating to depression, anxiety, career, academics, interpersonal concerns, and other mental health issues; able to provide treatment to international students and ability to provide therapeutic services in Hindi; provides crisis intervention and lethality assessments for students and provides consultation to faculty and staff around student mental health concerns; conducts and evaluates psychoeducational workshop programs; trains and supervises graduate students in psychology, social work, counselor education, or related fields; prepares and maintains treatment records in an ethical manner; may develop and conduct research; participates in professional development and continuing education activities. Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Counselor Education, or closely related field; has independent license as social worker, counselor or marriage and family therapist in the State of Ohio. 12 months supervised practicum or internship experience in a professional counseling setting; 12 months of experience in therapy case work, crisis management, psychotherapy, and diagnostic assessment and outreach; ability to provide clinical services in Hindi and demonstrated ability to provide clinical services to international students; requires successful completion of a background check.
