Sheet Metal Fabricator – Opportunity for Permanent Hire

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate parts according to blueprints, drawings, and verbal instructions

• Operate tools and machinery such as drill presses, turret punches, punch presses, air tools, band saws, belt sanders, brake presses, and shears

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and craftsmanship in all fabrication tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and standing for extended periods

• Proficiency in using measurement tools, including:

• Rulers in tenths, hundredths, and fractions of an inch

• Micrometers and calipers in increments of thousandths of an inch

• Converting fractions to decimals and vice versa

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, work instructions, and specification sheets

• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Standing for extended periods

• Performing repetitive hand and wrist motions

• Bending, stooping, and reaching to complete tasks

Pay Details: $20.59 per hour
