Robert Half is offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Lead Accountant/Accounting Manager position in Conyers, Georgia.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Sr. Accountant with lead and/or supervisory experience seeking advancement to an Accounting Manager level.

Contract Pay Rate: $38/hr. - $40/hr. (pay rate based on experience)

Permanent placement Salary Range: 80k – 85k (based on experience)

8:30AM-5:30PM, M-F; 100% onsite

• Responsibilities and duties include:

• Manage a team of 3 direct reports

• Balance and maintain accurate ledgers

• Participate in month-end close activities Oversee AP/AR reconciliations and heavy bank and account reconciliations

• Monitor office expenses

• Provide monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and balance sheets

• Monthly billing calculating sales commissions

• Providing payroll data to the payroll service

  Requirements

• Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in the financial sector

• Construction/home builder industry knowledge preferred

• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks, QuickBooks Premier, and QuickBooks Pro Advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet software

• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations

• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data

• Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks

• Ability to direct and supervise accounting staff and operations

• Excellent organizational skills for maintaining clear, accurate financial records

• Ability to contribute to financial audits, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations

• Strong communication skills to liaise with financial team, executives, and stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience.
