Nexeo is seeking a skilled and motivated Press Setup Technician to join our team in the Promontory,Utah area! This position is for a weekend graveyard shift. Press Setup Technicians play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our press equipment to ensure smooth production operations. The role involves performing preventive maintenance,changeovers,and adjustments,as well as collaborating with production,maintenance,and engineering teams to minimize downtime. This position may start as a temporary role with the potential to transition to a permanent hire. *Responsibilities *

Tooling Maintenance: Clean,maintain,inspect,buff,and measure tablet press tooling.

Precision Measurements: Perform precise measurements and identify non-conformances.

Tool Handling: Use hand and power tools for maintenance tasks.

Documentation: Ensure proper reporting of all corrective measures and maintain compliance with documentation requirements.

Press Cleaning & Maintenance: Thoroughly clean presses and conduct preventive maintenance changeovers and tablet press changes.

Maintenance Backup: Act as a backup to the maintenance team.

Instruction Compliance: Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Safety Compliance: Exhibit proactive safety behavior.

Collaboration: Work with production,maintenance,and engineering teams to minimize press downtime.

Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Must have a GED or high school diploma.

Must be willing to shave facial hair for mask fit tests. If required,dependent on plant area requirements.

Basic math skills,including understanding place value,rounding decimals,and adding decimals.

Basic understanding of APS.

Ability to work well in a team environment and effectively interact with supervision,customers,and employees.

Ability to read and understand tool drawings,SWI,and procedures.

Basic computer skills with an emphasis on Excel,Word,Lotus Notes,and Leading2Lean.

Must be self-motivated.

Education & Commitment: Must be currently attending or willing to attend school for an Industrial Maintenance Technician Certificate.

*Pay *

$26.42 - $27.20 Per Hour DOE

D Shift (Weekend Night Shift) | Thursday Saturday & Every Other Wednesday | 5:30pm 5:30am |
