Whenever on Suit-Kote property or job sites, or operating Suit- Kote equipment, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a manner that promotes the safety of the employee, co-workers and others.Responsibilities/Job Duties:Deliver aggregate and black top to job sites or between facilitiesOperator equipment in a safe mannerMaintain truck log in according to state and federal regulationsMaintenance tasks and light mechanical duties (pumps, gauges, valves, etc.) along with activities in elevated-heights.Truck loading and unloadingRequired Skills/Abilities:Valid Commercial Drivers LicenseThorough operational knowledge and skills of trucks and related equipment to be operatedReliable transportation to and from work siteStrong work ethicPhysical Organization and time managementFlexibility in hours - overtime and weekend hours may be necessaryPassing a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening is required and a background check will be conductedConsent to a DMV license evaluationMust have or be willing to obtain an OSHA 10 Hour Safety CertificatePhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift 50 poundsObserve and comply with necessary PPE requirementsMust be able to work in a noisy area with many odors presentBending, stretching, stooping, kneeling, crawling and squattingOther Preferred Qualities:Ability to read and understand SDSHazmat endorsement a plusBasic computer skills (Microsoft Office)Salary Rate: $24.00/hourAdditional Duties:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed.
