Description We are in the agriculture industry, located in Creve Coeur, Missouri, seeking a Database Administrator. This role involves managing and ensuring the efficient and secure use of our databases. You will be required to draw on your expertise in Database systems, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Backup Technologies, and Configuration Management to design and implement strategies for database administration.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the performance, integrity, and security of the database systems

• Develop and implement strategies for database design and administration

• Manage Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases, ensuring they operate smoothly

• Utilize EO/IR systems for effective database administration

• Implement R2 and Backup Technologies for efficient data management

• Maintain accurate data records and ensure that the database is protected and backed-up

• Troubleshoot any issues related to the database and make necessary improvements

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all database requirements are being met

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and suggest ways to improve database systems. Requirements • Proficient in Database design and administration

• Experience with EO/IR systems is required

• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle is necessary

• Knowledge of R2 and Backup Technologies is essential

• Skilled in Configuration Management

• Ability to Implement Strategies effectively

• Experience in the agriculture industry is preferred

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
