Are you an experienced Driver Trainer looking to take your next step?Looking for a new role? Specialise in Health and Safety and instructor Training? Look no further. We have a great opportunity available for a Regional Training Manager to join our team.

We are looking for a full-time, permanent Driver Trainer to join us at our central Training Team based in Crick. You will work as part of a bigger team, working alongside 3 other regional training managers upskilling, coaching, and mentoring our existing site based operational trainings.

You’ll be supporting our new site start-ups with training and working closely with eh site base trainers to introduce company requirements. You`ll need to be imaginative and innovative to initiate new ideas around existing policies.

You will be working 40 hours per week, covering Monday to Friday, with start times vary dependant on training requirements. Ideally candidates should be located in the South west or South East

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Due to travel requirements the position comes with a company car or allowance.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Delivering Operational and Driver Training Course

  • Coaching, advising and helping, site training staff

  • Ensuring H&S training is carried out and completing audits.

  • Advising and supporting the management team with areas of improvement

  • Analysing data and present findings and figures

  • Managing policies and compliance, ensuring yourself and our sites are always up to date.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in training.

  • Confident with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

  • Clean Category CE licence.

  • Experience in classroom management

  • Knowledge of the requirements of Tachomaster, DCPC, MHE operation and ADR would be an advantage.

  • Be able to work on your own or part of a team, be reliable and able to follow company guidance
