ATI Die Room Supervisor in Cudahy, Wisconsin

ATI is currently looking for a Die Room Supervisor to join our team at our Cudahy, WI facility. A successful Die Room Supervisor will oversee the supervision and coordination of the manufacturing operations and hourly employees in the Die Room department. The Die Room Supervisor will support ATI’s production goals, and initiating actions as required in order to achieve those goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and coordinate the work of die sinkers, machine operators or other hourly employees assigned to the Die Room

  • Organize and assign work to Die Room hourly employees

  • Provide instructions and expertise to Die Room employees regarding the requirements of various metals and alloys and the appropriate method of tooling preparation, sinking, conditioning, to meet specified requirements

  • Coordinate Die Room schedule with Production Control and Forge Shop to meet customer schedules through daily meetings and the application of Synchronous

  • Coordinate with Maintenance, and Engineering, as appropriate, to diagnose machine and equipment malfunctions, and expedite repairs and corrective measures to minimize downtime and schedule interruptions

  • Provide information to assist Facilities Engineering, Die Design, Forge Shop Engineering, and the Forge Shop and assist in investigation and/or implementation of cost reductions, process improvements, and tooling tryouts

  • Ensure the highest level of safety and good housekeeping in work environment through implementation of the ATI Safety programs and personal example

  • Ensure employee conformance to company work rules

  • Execute the requirements of union contracts and participate in grievance meetings

  • Other job duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2+ years’ experience with tool manufacturing and assembly operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing environment

  • 2+ years of supervisory experience

  • Strong analytical skills
