Job Description:
A position is available for a postdoctoral researcher in theoretical/computational biophysics and biochemistry in the lab of Hedieh Torabifard within the Chemistry and Biochemistry Departments at the University of Texas at Dallas. We are looking for a creative, independent, and highly motivated individual to work on the development of machine-learned force fields, and applications of molecular modeling (including all-atom MD, free energy methods and meta-dynamics) to biomolecular systems using polarizable and non-polarizable force fields.
This position is funded by a grant for approximately four years.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D in a related field.
Preferred Education and Experience:
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Biophysics, Chemistry, or related field. A strong background in computational/theoretical molecular simulations (e.g. force field development, computer simulation, ML/AI, stat. mech.) and programming skills are essential.
