What You Will Do

If you highly professional, passionate about exploring our impressive NAC product, come Join the Forescout QA Team as: Senior Software Developer for Automation, and take part in defining and driving the future worldwide market leading product suite consists of: Network Access Control, Endpoint Compliance, Mobile Control, and Intrusion Prevention. Applications range from Client/Server applications to Web apps for a Network Access Control solution, running on both Windows and Linux systems.

• Design, develop, maintain core components for the Forescout portfolio automation platform.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of the automation platform by implementing new features, bug fixes and other improvements.

• Develop new and extend existing frameworks into different development pipelines.

• Lead complex and technically challenging projects/initiatives from concept to completion.

• Run and analyze existing automation performance metrics and contribute to the improvement of processes and methodologies for the team.

• Collaborate with team members and cross-functional development teams to design and develop new and enhance existing automation strategies.

  What You Bring To Forescout

  Professional Skills

• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience as a software developer/architect designing, building, and maintaining infrastructure and plugin module automation code around traditional client server products.

• Experience designing/building playbooks with Ansible Automation Platform or similar tools is recommended.

• Proficiency in Python with experience in Java and scripting languages. Including object-oriented design, industry best practices, software patterns, and architecture principles.

• Experience using and developing automation frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Robot Framework, etc.

• Experience with version control systems like Git.

• Experience with network and virtualization technologies.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively in a team environment.

• Should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal processes, limited guidance, and focused on productivity. Including demonstrated ability to logically and analytically troubleshoot software and network issues

• Familiar with Test Management Tools, such as TestRail, and Project Management tools, such as JIRA.

• Comfortable with various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS.

• Experience working in an Agile environment.
