DESCRIPTION OF WORK In this position, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating construction and renovation projects while overseeing the implementation, monitoring, and direction of preventive maintenance programs across the bureau. This includes programs at the North Central Secure Treatment Unit, the North East Secure Treatment Unit, and our Southeast Youth Development Center. As the project manager, you will collaborate with departmental staff, architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate all construction and renovation efforts. You will also assist in the execution of these projects by preparing plans, sketches, and specifications to ensure that each facility's needs are met. Additionally, you will initiate in-house projects by developing drawings and estimating the costs of materials and labor requirements.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Travel and overtime may be required as needed. You must be willing to accept employment at North Central Secure Treatment Unit and commute to this location in Danville, Montour County. Salary:Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $ 58,035.00 (before taxes). REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Two years of experience as a Facility Operations Manager 1 (commonwealth title); or Three years of experience as a Building Maintenance Foreman (commonwealth title); or Five years of experience performing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings which includes three years of supervisory experience overseeing skilled trades work in commercial or industrial buildings, or utility plant operations.
Special Requirement: This position requires possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
