Job Description Summary: The Assistant Terminal Manager position is directly responsible for local safety management, driver scheduling, recruiting and staffing, vehicle maintenance, and the overall efficient, effective cost management of the operation while complying with all regulatory agencies including, but not limited to DOT, OHSA, and FDA requirements at our facility. Responsible for the supervision, training and performance of drivers and mechanics. Responsible for the PM operation and administration of liquid distribution costs to ensure they are maintained in accordance with company budgets, goals and objectives. Responsible for compliance of all DOT, OSHA, NFPA, State and Local regulations related to the private trucking industry and the industrial gas industry for maintenance of established standards for the operation. Responsible for following established policies and procedures required for the distribution and utilization of vehicles, company reporting systems and maintenance controls as it relates to the local operation. The incumbent must be able to learn behavior shaping techniques as trained by the company for the purpose of attaining company objectives for the overall purpose of obtaining cost efficiencies. Responsible for the scheduling and organization of driver trainer activities as it relates to scheduling of new hire training, scheduling of re-certification check rides, accident follow-up check rides and driver performance check ride follow-up. __Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 2+ years of operations management experience supervising a staff required Knowledge of Daily Vehicle Investigation Report Preferred Qualifications College degree in a related field preferred 5+ years of operations management experience supervising a staff strongly preferred
