 JOB DUTIES: Handling manual tasks associated with commodity production and harvest activities. Crops/Commodities: Soybeans (47.5%), Corn (45.6%), Wheat (6.9%). Plant, cultivate, and harvest soybeans. Load seed into hoppers and assist with mechanical soybean planting. Rogue soybean on foot. Remove off-type soybean varieties and other plants using hand tools. Plant, cultivate, harvest, and detassel corn. Walk through fields and pull tassel off plants as directed. Rogue corn and remove off-type plants. Drive tractors, combines, and other mechanized farm equipment to plant, cultivate, and harvest wheat, grain, hay, and/or oilseed crops. Perform manual and mechanized tasks including but not limited to: bushhogging fields; disking; aerating; seeding (using mechanical drills and seeders); fertilizing, weed spraying, mowing, tedding, raking, baling, and stacking. Operate grain carts. Receive crop for drying and storage at drying facility. Clean and sanitize bins and worksite area. Mow, cut, and weed fields.
