Robert Half Property Accountant in Denver, Colorado

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the property management industry for a Property Accountant in Denver, Colorado. In this role, you will primarily focus on Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations and other property management tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive CAM reconciliations, including the analysis of variances and ensuring that tenant billing adjustments are accurate and timely

• Scrutinize tenant lease agreements to guarantee that expense allocations are in line with lease terms

• Work closely with accounting teams to verify financial data and assist in the preparation of yearly budgets

• Engage in effective communication with tenants to clarify reconciliation results and respond to any inquiries

• Aid in general property management tasks such as vendor management and invoice approvals, when required

• Utilize property management software proficiently, such as Yardi, MRI, or similar systems

• Apply strong analytical and communication skills to all tasks

• Accurately process accounting functions such as account coding, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR)

• Conduct auditing and CAM reconciliation effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is a must for efficient data organization.

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial tasks.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services for payroll and benefits administration.

• Proficiency in AMSI to manage property and real estate data effectively.

• Knowledge of AppFolio for property management accounting.

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions accurately and in a timely manner.

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely payments.

• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) to maintain healthy cash flow.

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting for accurate financial reporting.

• Experience in Auditing to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Proficiency in Cam Reconciliation for accurate allocation of common area maintenance costs.
