Your Opportunity
We are seeking a structural engineering intern to support our Water business in our Denver, CO office. This role will support our local structural design staff. Tasks include the following: preparing basic calculations to analyze and design individual components of structures, supporting drawing development using 2D and 3D modeling software such as AutoCAD and Revit, performing field investigations under the supervision of a senior engineer, coordinating production of reports and researching technical information. As an intern, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to water infrastructure projects which may include pipelines, pump stations, tanks, water and wastewater treatment plants, and other water infrastructure design.

The Intern must have good attention to detail. They need to possess a willingness to assist full time staff with various tasks. The core competencies for this position include:

Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
Currently enrolled in college/university and/or on summer break between semesters.
Minimum 3.0 GPA.
Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within the team.
Good MS Office skills including Word and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D a plus.

- $26.08 Per hour - $31.29 Per Hour Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO, HI, MD and IL
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
