Job Summary

Provide supplies and equipment for Surgical Services departments in a timely manner. Keep proper controls of adequate inventory levels to ensure supplies for patient care.

• Maintains adequate operating supply levels for surgical services and ancillary departments.

• Coordinates timely supply deliveries and distributions to units throughout the organization.

• Works as a liaison through budget process.

• Meets routinely with vendors maintaining good Hospital ethics.

• Communicates with each Surgical Services team leader reviewing individual department’s needs.

• Orders and expedites all Surgical Services supplies and equipment, in addition to processing all repairs and returns.

• Obtains equipment on loan when needed to ensure daily supply meets caseloads

• Works with staff reviewing products for cost savings, standardization, deletion and substitution of product.

What qualifications you will need:

• Must have prior background experience in Healthcare Materials Management

• Computer experience required
