We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our data infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and supports our data-driven initiatives. You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, business analysts, and other stakeholders to create scalable, reliable, and secure data solutions. This is a hands-on-keyboard technical leadership position.

What you’ll do…

Design and implement data solutions in the cloud (preferably GCP) or on-premises, utilizing the latest data services, products, technologies, and industry best practices

Architect the migration of legacy data environments, ensuring performance and reliability

Assess and understand data sources, data models and schemas, and data workflows to inform data architecture decisions

Develop ETL jobs, data pipelines, and workflows to support data engineering efforts and reports for BI and Data Visualization contributions

Communicate any technical inquiries with regards to customization, integration, enterprise architecture, and general feature/functionality of data products

Build data lake house solutions in the cloud including relational databases, data warehouses, data lakes, and distributed data systems

Databases & Big Data: PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Big Query, Apache DevLake, MySQL

Cloud & DevOps: GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Prometheus, Postman

Version Control & CI/CD: Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, JFrog

You'll Have…

• 10 years of experience in Python or Go development experience and experience using REST APIs

• 10 years of experience architecting the migration of legacy data environments

• 3 years of experience mentoring Jr. to mid-level developers

Even better if you have…

• Experience developing data APIs and delivery services to support critical processes and machine learning applications

• Experience with Full-stack development

• Proficiency in Shell scripting
