We are on the hunt for a diligent Legal Assistant to become part of our team. In your role as a Legal Assistant, you will be instrumental in handling customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and taking on customer inquiries. Additionally, you'll be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking relevant action. This position is based in Metro Detroit.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle high volume caseloads

• Provide support to attorneys in a legal setting

• Manage e-filing and calendaring tasks meticulously

• Utilize experience in litigation to assist the team

• Handle cases related to no fault insurance defense

• Apply skills in Personal Injury Law and Insurance Defense

• Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications with precision and speed.

Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant.

• Proficiency in Insurance Defense is essential for this role.

• Familiarity with Personal Injury Law is a requirement.

• Ability to perform legal research and draft legal documents.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

• Must have the ability to multitask and work under pressure.

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field is required.

• Certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal is a plus.
