Job Title: Batch Operator - $18-$20/HR

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated candidates to assist with production work. This role involves various tasks including organizing work areas, monitoring machines, and assisting with warehouse cleaning and organizing. If you are reliable, able to follow instructions, and comfortable working independently, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities

• Scraping the sides of the drums

• Organizing the work areas

• Assisting with production of batches

• Monitoring machines RPM and temperature

• Cleaning totes and bins on the shop floor

• Assisting with cleaning and organizing the warehouse

• Moving materials and products throughout the plant floor, including liquid drums

• Running production

• Packaging paint

• Using the forklift occasionally

• Dumping material into the drums

Essential Skills

• Prior production experience

• Ability to stand on feet for the entire duration of the shift

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience (preferred but not required; training provided)

• Reliability and punctuality

• Ability to follow instructions

Work Environment

The manufacturing floor is dirty but organized, well-lit, and not climate controlled. Expect high temperatures in the summer and low temperatures in the winter. The environment smells like paint, and hi-los are in constant motion. You will be working mostly alone, with your team consisting of yourself and the supervisor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
